The Astros Continue to Surge
The Houston Astros continue to play outstanding baseball by beating the Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 9-2 last night. That victory put the Astros in second place in the NL Central and tied with the San Francisco Giants for the Wild Card spot. The Astros were counted as down and out not but a month ago, now they are fighting for the last remaining playoff spot in the NL. Baseball is an amazingly funny game.
